Inspiration comes from making connections. Bumping metaphors into one another. Joining the dots…(important ellipsis). Talking of dots: the constellation Orion is known by Western Europeans as The Hunter; by the Navajo Nation as The First Slender One and by the Yokut Nation as The Three Footprints of the God of the Flea People. Macedonians look up at the heavens and ask “What starry pattern’s that above?” and answer ‘A Group of Organised Thieves’.
